About Us
Weaving Tradition, Equality, and Hope
Rooted in the Tibetan Plateau, Tibowism (Tibetan Rainbowism) is dedicated to preserving and sharing Tibetan craftsmanship with the world.
We believe traditional craft is far more than decoration — it is a living expression of culture, memory, spirituality, and human connection. Each woven textile, hand-carved detail, and artisan-made object carries generations of knowledge shaped by the landscapes and communities of Tibet.
At the heart of Tibowism is a commitment to fairness, dignity, and long-term collaboration. We work directly with Tibetan artisans and workshops, supporting more transparent and equitable ways of sustaining traditional craft.
In a world defined by mass production and disposable design, we seek to protect the human stories behind handmade work.
Our philosophy is inspired by diversity, equality, and hope — values that guide both cultural preservation and contemporary living.
Each piece is created slowly, thoughtfully, and by hand. More than objects of design, they are carriers of heritage, warmth, and enduring artistry rooted in one of the world’s most unique cultural landscapes.

Meet the Research Advisors
Padma dongrub and Kunsang Palzom are key members of Tibowism and the leading force behind its field research across Tibetan regions. With doctoral backgrounds in Tibetan Archaeology and History, both have devoted years to the study of Tibetan aesthetics, traditional craftsmanship, and the cultural history of Himalayan communities.
Through extensive fieldwork in pastoral Tibetan areas, they have developed deep insight into the heritage, symbolism, and contemporary realities of Tibetan handicrafts. Their work helps ensure that Tibowism remains deeply rooted in authenticity, cultural dignity, and the enduring spirit of Tibetan craftsmanship.
Rooted in Tibetan Craft, Bridging the World
We travel across the Tibetan Plateau to discover authentic handcrafted works shaped by local tradition, landscape, and generations of artistry.
Through careful curation, Tibowism connects global audiences with the beauty of Tibetan craftsmanship and the artisans who keep these living traditions alive by hand.
Guided by integrity, cultural respect, and timeless aesthetics, we strive to build a lasting bridge between Tibetan heritage and contemporary global life.
